Although uncluttering is the first rule in staging, this family room was so uncluttered that it lacked personality.

By borrowing book shelves from the homeowners’ master bedroom, bringing in some art work for colour, adding rich fabriced pillows and a throw to the couch and a couple of decorative items to the fireplace hearth, the room now is inviting and warm.
